The Rowley Fire Department provides fire suppression, fire prevention, rescue and emergency medical services for the residents of Rowley, Massachusetts.

The RFD employs a full-time chief, two full-time firefighters, and 25 paid-on-call firefighters and officers. We operate three engines, an aerial ladder, two brush trucks, a rescue/command vehicle, and a utility unit from one station located on Hammond Street in the east end of town.

Hale 1500 GPM pump, 780 gallons water

Cummins ISM-400hp engine, Allison HD4060P transmission

Fully enclosed, climate controlled cab with seating for 6 firefighters. Custom flat-backed rescue body; no exterior exposed tools or equipment

Specially designed and built not to exceed 28 feet in length.

Carries 1500 feet of 5-inch supply hose, 500 feet of 3-inch supply/attack hose, 250 feet of 2-1/2-inch supply/attack hose, 2-200 foot 1-3/4 attack lines, 1-200 foot 2-1/2 inch attack line, TFT Blitzfire 500 gpm portable monitor pre-connected to 300 feet of 3-inch hose.

Also carries a Thermal Imaging Camera and a full set of rescue tools including Holmatro hydraulic cutters, spreaders, and rams; and Paratech rescue lifting bags.

Fully equipped for Basic Life Support including a PhysioControl Semi-Automatic External Defibrillator (SAED) for cardiac patients.

With the delivery of Engine 1, Engine 3 will run first-due to Motor Vehicle Crashes and second-due to all other calls.
