About

The Rowley Fire Department employs a full-time force consisting of 1 Chief, 1 Captain, 1 Lieutenant, and 6 Firefighter/EMTs. It also employs a paid on-call force consisting of 2 Lieutenants and about 20 Firefighters. We operate three engines, an aerial ladder, a forestry unit, a command vehicle, and a utility unit from one station located on Haverhill Street.

Serving over 20 square miles and a growing population, the Rowley Fire Department responds to approximately 800 calls for emergency service per year. These calls vary from fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, and rescues. We provide fire safety education, fire prevention, and other public services. The department also provides mutual aid to surrounding communities.
