As National EMS week comes to a close, we want recognize the EMTs and Paramedics who deliver much-needed medical services every day.
Did you know our fire engines respond to medical emergencies? All our full-time firefighters, and most of our call firefighters, are EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians). We are lucky to have several medically trained police officers with the Rowley Police Department as well. Together, we provide medical attention until an ambulance service arrives for transport and more advanced care.
We would like to send a special thank Action Ambulance Service as well as our mutual aid partners who often lend a helping hand, including Atlantic Ambulance Service, Georgetown Fire Department, , Newbury and Byfield Fire Department, Topsfield Fire Department, and Boston Medflight. These services regularly provide outstanding patient care and transport for our town.
